Download the 2012 Teaching With Primary Sources Across TN Classroom Materials
In June, the 2012 Teaching with Primary Sources across Tennessee Summer Institute took place at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, with site visits to Fort Donelson National Battlefield and Fort Defiance Civil War Park and Interpretive Center. Heritage Area staff assisted with the workshop, themed "Occupation,” where participants learned about relevant collections, exhibitions, and materials available from the Library of Congress Web site and created activities to use in the classroom.
