The Mississippi River Corridor
Beginning at the Island No. 10 Monument, on TN Hwy 22 north of the town of Tiptonville, the route extends south to Tiptonville, where it intersects with TN Hwy 78. The next leg of the corridor extends south on TN Hwy 78 to Dyersburg where it intersects with US Hwy 51 and continues south to the city of Memphis. There are four spur corridors: at Tiptonville, where a spur, TN Hwy 21/22, goes to Union City; at Dyersburg, where a spur, TN Hwy 104, goes east to Trenton; at Ripley, where a spur, TN Hwy 19, goes to Brownsville, and at Henning, where a spur corridor, TN Hwy 87, goes to the Mississippi River and Fort Pillow.
