The Cumberland River Corridor
Beginning at the Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area, the route connects to US Hwy 79 west of the town of Dover. It continues east on US Hwy 79 to the Fort Donelson National Battlefield, the town of Dover, and the city of Clarksville, where it intersects with TN Hwy 12. It continues southeast on TN Hwy 12 to the city of Nashville, where it intersects with US Hwy 70. It continues on US Hwy 70 to the city of Lebanon, where it intersects with US Hwy 70N. It continues east on US Hwy 70N to the village of Chestnut Mound, where it intersects with TN Hwy 53. This last leg turns north, along the Cumberland River, and continues to the Tennessee/Kentucky state line in Clay County. There is one spur corridor, TN Hwy 141, which connects Lebanon to the town of Hartsville.
